South London keeps our scaffolders busy all year round, and it’s easy to see why. From the Victorian and Edwardian terraces of Wimbledon, Putney and Dulwich to the riverside properties around Richmond and the busy high streets of Kingston, Croydon and Bromley, this is a part of the city full of homes and businesses that need proper, safe access, for roofing, repointing, loft conversions, extensions and everything in between.
Having worked on scaffolds throughout the capital, our scaffolders covering London understand the access requirements of different properties and locations. Narrow residential streets where lorry access needs planning. Conservation-area properties in places like Richmond, Wimbledon Village and Dulwich where the work must be done sympathetically. Busy retail parades in Clapham, Kingston and Croydon where a shopfront scaffold has to go up cleanly without disrupting trade. Whatever the job, our aim is the same, a safe, well-built scaffold, put up when we say we will, at a fair fixed price.
We handle both domestic and commercial scaffolding across the region, including:

Scaffolding on your own property generally doesn’t need planning permission. However, if the scaffold extends over a pavement or public highway, common on the terraced streets of areas like Clapham, Wimbledon and Dulwich, a licence is required from the local council. We hold the necessary insurance and will arrange the licence application on your behalf.
Yes. Much of South London, including parts of Richmond, Wimbledon Village and Dulwich, sits within conservation areas. Scaffolding itself doesn’t usually require special consent, but the works behind it might, we’re experienced in working carefully around period and listed buildings.
For most jobs we can quote the same day once we have the details, number of storeys, sides, the work being carried out, the address and a few photos. Larger or more complex projects may need a short site visit first.
Tell us about your project and we’ll get back to you with a fair, fixed quote, usually the same day. For scaffolding anywhere in South London, fill in the form below to get started.
